Parents & Carers Support
I offer parent and carers support through two main channels: Private Consultations and Workshops
Private Consultations
Guidance and reassurance to help you feel more confident in supporting your child.
Parenting is deeply rewarding, but our lived experience of caregiving can be hard at times and can feel overwhelming, especially when your child is struggling. A parent consultation offers you time and space to pause, reflect, and think together with a professional about what is happening for your child and family.

In these sessions, we can:
- Explore your concerns in a safe, non-judgemental space
- Look at what may be driving your child’s behaviour beneath the surface
- Think about your child’s developmental stage, temperament, and needs
- Discuss practical strategies and playful ideas to try at home
- Support your own regulation and wellbeing as a parent
- Consider how your own childhood experience may be influencing your style of caregiving.
- Consider whether your child may benefit from therapy and, if so, what approach might be best
Sometimes these conversations bring immediate relief, simply knowing that what you are seeing makes sense, and that there are ways forward. Parents often tell me they leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more confident in how to respond to their child.
Consultations can be a one-off session for guidance and reassurance, or they can form part of ongoing therapeutic work alongside your child’s sessions.
The aim is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence you need, while also caring for your own wellbeing.

Workshops
I believe the parent–child relationship is one of the most powerful forces in a child’s life. Over and over, I see how small shifts in understanding and connection can make a world of difference. When I share certain insights with parents, the impact can be profound, not only for the child, but for the whole family.
Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful it can be when parents are given the same tools and insights that therapists use in the playroom every day. That’s why I created these workshops which are designed to be nourishing and practical. You can expect a unique blend of relaxation, bite-sized learning, experiential play and reflective practice. This means you won’t just hear new ideas; you’ll get to feel them, practise them, and carry them into daily life. But be prepared to roll up your sleeves, we’ll get hands-on, and sometimes a little messy, as we explore together.
